Our mission
We built IQCognify because most online IQ tests are either paywalled before you see a number, padded with surprise charges, or so unserious that the score means nothing. We wanted the opposite: a rigorous, genuinely free test that returns an honest result in minutes, explains what that result means, and respects your time and your intelligence.
Our goal is to make psychometric self-assessment accessible to everyone, while being clear-eyed about what an online test can and cannot tell you. We would rather give you a careful estimate with an honest confidence range than an impressive-sounding number we can't stand behind.
What makes IQCognify different

You take the test and you see your score, your percentile, and your classification right away — no email wall, no payment required to view the number you earned. The free result is the real result, not a teaser.
Cognitive DNA — depth beyond a single number
A single IQ figure compresses a lot of nuance into one number. Your free Cognitive DNA breakdown shows your performance across distinct cognitive domains — reasoning, working memory, processing speed, spatial ability, verbal ability, and more — so you see your individual profile of strengths and weaknesses, not just an overall average.
Free, with no catch
Everything is free: the test, your score, your percentile, your cognitive analysis, and the written interpretation — with no account and no credit card required. Nothing is locked behind a payment, there is no upsell, and the result you see is the whole result.
Our standards
We hold our content and our test to standards we can defend in public:
- Items are designed around established psychometric reasoning types and scored on the conventional mean-100, standard-deviation-15 scale.
- Scoring happens on our servers — answer keys are never sent to your browser — and we age-norm results so a score reflects performance relative to peers, not raw correctness.
- Every score is reported with a confidence range rather than as false-precision certainty.
- Our editorial content cites peer-reviewed psychometrics where it makes claims, and we correct errors openly.
How we make money
We are upfront about this because trust depends on it. The entire experience — including your cognitive analysis and interpretation — is free. We keep it running through optional, clearly-labelled advertising:
- Advertising. Some pages may display ads, which helps keep the test free for everyone. Ads are clearly distinguishable from our content and never influence your score or what our editorial team writes.
What we do not do: we do not sell your test answers, we do not charge for the test or your result, and we do not lock your own result behind a paywall.
The team and our values
IQCognify is produced by the IQCognify Editorial Team, working with psychometrics reviewers who vet the test design, scoring approach, and any claims we make about intelligence and measurement. We deliberately do not dress the site up with invented experts or fake credentials — where a claim needs authority, we cite the published research rather than a manufactured byline.
The values that guide every decision: be honest about uncertainty, keep the core experience free, protect user privacy, and never let commercial incentives bend the science.
