How IQCognify content is written, reviewed, fact-checked, dated, and updated — and why our editorial decisions are kept independent from advertising and commerce.

Who writes our content
Content on IQCognify is produced by the IQCognify Editorial Team and reviewed by psychometrics reviewers for technical accuracy. We write in plain English for a general audience, aiming to make a genuinely technical subject understandable without dumbing it down or overstating what is known.
We do not publish content under fabricated expert bylines. Where a claim needs authority, we cite the underlying research rather than attaching a manufactured name.
How content is created and reviewed
Every substantive page follows the same lifecycle before it goes live:
- Drafting against credible sources, with claims traced to primary research where possible.
- Editorial review for clarity, balance, and tone.
- Technical review by psychometrics reviewers for anything touching measurement, scoring, or the science of intelligence.
- A final accuracy pass before publication.
Fact-checking
We hold factual claims to our Research Standards. In practice that means we verify statistics against their sources, avoid false precision, distinguish correlation from causation, and prefer replicated findings to single eye-catching studies. When the evidence is genuinely mixed, we report it as mixed.
Dating and updates
Knowledge moves, and stale content is misleading content. Each page carries a 'last updated' date, and we revisit material when the underlying science changes, when a reader flags an issue, or as part of routine review. Material corrections refresh the update date so you can see when a page last changed.
Independence from advertising
This is a firm line for us. Editorial content is created independently of advertising and commercial relationships.
- Advertisers do not review, approve, or influence our content before publication.
- Ads, where they appear, are clearly distinguishable from editorial material.
- Our coverage of intelligence, testing, and competing approaches is not shaped by what is good for ad revenue.
- Our test result and your score are never affected by advertising.
Keeping the science honest is more valuable to us than any single ad impression.

We welcome challenges to our content. If you spot an error, an outdated claim, or a missing citation, email hello@iqcognify.com and we will review it. Verified errors are corrected promptly under our correction policy.
